When installing LST radiators, their size is important to a lot of people. It can affect where they would like the radiators to be placed in a room or be related to concerns about their heat output. In fact; it’s one of the questions that we get asked the most.
Let’s look at Contour’s LST Radiators and the sizes available to you…
When we enter a space, we work from a schedule of heat losses to guide how we go about providing heating solutions for a space.
In many areas, heat is generated by the people moving around within it, the sun coming through the windows and equipment within the room, such as computers.
When you take all that away, there is a volume of heat within a room that is lost, and a heating solution is required to make up that difference.
In school, room temperature is required to be 18°C as a minimum, otherwise, staff and students can be sent home. A comfortable working temperature for most environments is around 20°C.
Contour provides heating solutions to ensure this.
A Range of LST Radiator Options
Contour LST Radiators come in a wide range of sizes.
The smallest LST radiator that we provide is 300mm x 300mm. This will come with a 500mm x 550mm radiator cover.
The largest size in our range is 2200mm x 1045mm.
However, if you would prefer LST radiators outside of these parameters then Contour Heating can work to accommodate that!
Bespoke LST Radiator Designs
While we offer a range of LST radiator sizes, sometimes customers have more specific needs that require a solution outside of these options.
If the heat output required means that the radiator is too large for the space available, we can around this by manufacturing a bespoke size for you.
By offering bespoke solutions outside of the measurements listed above, we can ensure that no matter what the situation, we have a heating solution to solve it.
For example, we can install multiple radiators under one cover to achieve high outputs for large spaces, or, if the wall space available has more height than it does length, we can also offer a vertical LST radiator option to you.
Measure For LST RadiatorSuccess
For a smooth installation process, and as part of the bespoke service that we offer, Contour Heating carry out on-site measurements of your facility to ensure that we supply an exact solution for your needs.
We believe in causing minimal disruption and will only be within the space as much as we have to. Usually, this is twice.
For school projects, we will visit outside of class hours, avoiding any disruption to student’s learning, and for hospitals and other facilities, we will work to ensure the very least amount of disturbance to service users throughout the project.
Following installation, we will carry out a site survey to ensure the LST radiators are a proper fit and make any final adjustments to maximise their suitability to the space.
