Clear visual indicators show if the lock is engaged, and the quarter-turn mechanism ensures that if the lock is not properly secured or tampered with, the centre circle remains retracted into the lock body. This advanced system provides a comprehensive solution for safeguarding access points and contributing to a safer, more secure facility.

Three-Point Contact Compression Centre Ring: This design deters tampering with its oval central insert, which can only be accessed using a specialised key. The compression centre ring requires a minimum of three points of contact for keyhole access, significantly reducing the risk of tampering.

Installation

To Install

Remove all washers and nuts.
Insert the lock through the cutout, ensuring the correct orientation.
Once in place, add the black rubber washer, followed by the toothed washer, and finally the main nut.
Tighten the nut with a spanner.
Test that the cam pulls in and snaps into place. If it is too stiff, add another washer under the cam. Repeat this step until the cam is tight and snaps when locked.

Can I fit these to my existing Contour Radiator covers?

Yes – they have been designed to be a direct swap for the 8mm Pin Hex Locks used on the Anti-Ligature range of products. Depending on the product and specific design, we can select the correct lock you’ll require. If you wanted to discuss about upgrading an entire ward/site then please get in touch as we would be able to confirm what’s required and offer a quotation for upgrading them for you.
